Two Locks Issues
The building of the new cemetry has commenced and there will be some disruption to the access for some time, however when its complete will be a magor piece of landscaping and will benefit the community.
I would like to thank all the residents for their work and those who have helped in the successful conclusion of the initial planning problems and concerns…and who supported me in my efforts to get the access road moved to its current position, which initially was a very sensitive issue.
This has been a good example of the community working with the council to achieve an outcome of mutual benefit…and I have to add…when there were initial critisisms of the “current balance of the council”, well this is one example where suitable pressure has been used to achieve the desired outcome…
For Two Locks road…I hope that the road marking that I managed to get on the carriageway and the footpath for the users of the nursery have proved useful and would like any comments.
Also if you observe any illegal parking causing obstruction which additionally causes people to have to push their prams onto the road, then get some evidence ( camera phone picture etc) and we’ll try to proscecute them.
